Powdered Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Instructions

Whisk the powdered peanut butter with a splash of the milk in a small bowl until smooth, if your blender tends to leave dry pockets, then add it to the blender along with the rest of the milk, banana, cinnamon, and ice. Blend on high until thick and frothy.

Swapping powdered peanut butter for the traditional spoonful of regular peanut butter cuts most of the added fat while keeping a full dose of protein and that unmistakable roasted peanut flavor. It also blends in more evenly than oily nut butter, so you don't end up with little pockets of fat floating on top.

Powdered peanut butter can settle at the bottom of the jar, so give it a stir before measuring. If you like a sweeter smoothie, an extra half banana or a pitted date works better here than sugar, since it won't fight with the peanut flavor.
