|1 cup||strawberry Greek yogurt|
|1 cup||blueberry Greek yogurt|
|4||large frozen strawberries|
|1/2 cup||fresh blueberries|
|1/4 cup||pineapple juice|
|2 sprigs||kale (optional)|
Wash, hull, and freeze strawberries beforehand.
Add pineapple juice and yogurt to blender. Add frozen strawberries. Add blueberries. Wash and add kale if you desire. (You can keep the kale stems if you like, or remove the leaves; either way is fine.)
Blend to your desired level of consistency.
This recipe has a lot of yogurt, so it ends up really creamy—we really enjoy it for that. The frozen berries add a little coolness to the recipe. You could use fresh berries, but if you do, you probably want to freeze the pineapple juice into cubes beforehand.
Reviewers were mixed on the addition of kale. It's not a lot, so it doesn't change the flavor much, but you can tell it's there if you have a strong reaction to kale.
Makes one large smoothie.
