|1/2 cup||fresh blueberries|
|1 cup||fresh lemonade (freshly squeezed is best, but from a mix if you must)|
Wash blueberries and add to blender with lemonade. Purée for five seconds. Wait. Purée again for five seconds.
Pour mixture into glass and let sit for 60 seconds. This will allow the bubbles to reduce and the juice to settle.
If you're not a fan of blueberry seeds, you can strain this through cheesecloth while pouring from the blender into your glass.
Frozen blueberries would work, but we've found fresh blueberries to add a much better taste. While this is also refreshing when poured over crushed ice, it's delicious on its own with chilled lemonade and blueberries! (We've found that organic lemonade with a measurable portion of real lemon juice tastes best.)
Makes one refreshing drink.
